In 1994, one of our fathers advised us to work on a Petrochemical Project where Engineering could be shown at its best. At that time in Argentina, UREA plants were necessary to substitute the imports coming from Germany and the United States. This paved the way to the idea of working independently with friends: engineers, physicians, and economists, who provided the starting point for this group of Associate Professionals where the election to be part of this project was merit-based according to self-motivation, professionalism, capability and long-term vision.
First of all, we needed a spiritual guide who was strong and experienced, so we turned to a great-uncle of us who was a mechanical engineer willing to show us the way, an accountant, and an economist from the Province of Buenos Aires also willing to guide us in the design of a Business Plan and the economic evaluation of our clients’ projects with the highest level of professionalism. In those times, this project was initiated with fixed-term contracts, determined by our clients and their needs. We worked as independent engineers, usually part-time as well, as most of us were still full-time employees in order to stabilize our own economies and earn a living.
We aim at being the most effective, fast, economic and versatile option at a global level for the outsourcing of industrial projects under an EPC contract modality, or turnkey, generating an extension of the own staff of the company and a natural, immediate integration of the people and the scope of the project, preserving in this way the know-how of third parties, and making the client companies focus on their respective core businesses. This would help in providing the professional service and excellence of the best qualified Engineers in multidisciplinary engineering, execution of industrial works of any size and in any location, as well as the R+D assistance from the research and development centers and universities of the world which cooperate with us for all the fields of engineering and bioengineering, including global pharmaceutical projects.
A before and after in the history of self-motivation would be marked in this new society of knowledge where machines do our everyday jobs; so man and computers with their artificial intelligence and neural networks coexist in a world of remarkable and exponential advances where the society of knowledge is facing new challenges on a daily basis, and the last decades have seen more changes than many past centuries in human history. We expect to open a debate among the intellectual elite of every part of the world, without remarks in any aspect, except for the suitability of their technical and scientific terms to solve an engineering problem with due effort and conceptual clarity at any time or place of the world.
